Position: Senior Accountant, Assurance Services (in-office position)
Location: Center City, Philadelphia (near Rittenhouse Square)
We are seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join our Assurance Team. This position offers an outstanding opportunity for a professional who values client engagement, excels in problem-solving, and seeks to make a significant contribution within a growing firm. The role is designed for those who wish to advance to Shareholder, characterized by a strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to be a vital team member.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and performing audit, review, and compilation engagements, including preparation of financial statements.
- Manage accounting services and client accounts for a variety of individuals and businesses.
- Lead monthly closing and reconciliations, including preparation of journal entries where necessary.
- Prepare and analyze key financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Deliver general business and management advisory services.
- Collaborate directly with firm shareholders as needed.
- Assist with new client onboarding.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
- CPA license (or actively pursuing) required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and ability to research and apply relevant guidance and regulations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Online.
- Independent and proactive
- High cognitive, emotional, and social intelligence.

We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Assurance Services team. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys client interaction, coaching staff, problemsolving, and making a direct impact within a growing, entrepreneurial firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead assurance engagements- Plan, execute, and oversee audits, reviews, and compilations for a diverse client base.
- Manage client relationships- Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring exceptional service and proactive communication.
- Prepare financial statements with a strong technical eye and commitment to quality.
- Supervise and develop staff- Provide coaching, feedback, and onthejob training to senior and staff accountants.
- Advise clients on accounting matters, internal controls, and general business issues.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (required).
- CPA license required.

- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, assurance standards, and financial reporting.
- Experience working with both for-profit and not-for-profit clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Independent and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; QuickBooks experience is a plus.
